Fused Glass Feather
Create a luminous feather inspired by nature’s quiet beauty in this relaxed and creative fused glass class. Students will design and build a glass feather using cut sheet glass, stringers, frit, and layered textures to capture movement, light, and delicate detail.
You’ll learn how to shape feather forms, create vein patterns, and use color and transparency to give your piece depth and flow. Whether you prefer soft coastal hues, bold statement colors, or earthy naturals, each feather will be uniquely your own.
Your finished feather can be displayed as wall art, hung in a window, incorporated into a larger panel, or used as a decorative accent.
All materials included. No experience necessary.
Finished pieces will be fired after class and available for pickup approximately 1 week later.
