Layers of color, transformed by fire
Fused glass is the craft of layering pieces of colored art glass and firing them in a kiln until they melt and permanently merge. The heat reveals vibrant colors, creates textures, and fuses shapes into a single brilliant piece — entirely shaped by your hands first.
At MoonWater Arts, we guide your group through everything — from selecting your glass and designing your composition to cutting, arranging, and preparing your piece for the kiln. No experience is needed, and no two pieces ever look alike.

Before you book
How many people can join a session?
Our sessions require a minimum of 4 guests and a maximum of 7. This keeps the experience intimate — everyone gets personal instruction and enough workspace to create comfortably.
Do I need any glass art experience?
None at all. Our instructor teaches you everything from the ground up — how to handle glass safely, how to cut it, how to layer colors and arrange your design. First-timers thrive here.
What does each person make?
Each guest creates their own individual piece — typically a coaster, small decorative panel, or ornament. Your instructor will walk you through the options at the start of your session.
When do we pick up our pieces?
Pieces go into the kiln after your session and are typically ready for pickup in 5 to 7 days. We’ll reach out as soon as your work is ready to collect from the studio.
What’s included in the session price?
Everything: all art glass, tools, studio space, expert instruction, kiln firing, and pickup. There’s nothing extra to buy or bring — just yourselves.
How far ahead should we book?
We recommend booking 1–2 weeks in advance, especially for weekend slots. If your date is coming up sooner, reach out — we’ll do our best to fit you in.
