MoonWater Arts is the retail space that carries a curated line of hand created wares from local and national artists, mostly women. Our model is to support the arts, making hand created pieces accessible to everyone.

Joanie Schwartz Glass
Joanie Schwartz Glass is a Fused Glass teaching and working studio located in MoonWater Arts.
Private individual classes are available and will be charged at $25 per hour for instruction plus cost of glass, kiln firing, and mold rental.
Private group classes are always available by contacting Joanie Schwartz at (360) 300-7665 for details. These private group classes require a minimum of 4 people, maximum of 7 people.
Joanie Schwartz welcomes visitors to her retail and studio space at 702 Commercial Avenue in Anacortes. Her unique space showcases a curated collection of artistic treasures you simply don’t want to miss. All pieces are skillfully created by artisans from around the country, mostly women, many of whom call the PNW home. Joanie’s own fused glass pieces are inspired by her desire to infuse the world with light, beauty, hope and joy, and are created onsite in her open studio. The best part of your visit will be ambling into her production area to talk with her about her latest designs. Joanie’s true passion is teaching and helping people create their own vision. Make sure you take a look at the class schedule and secure a spot in one of her numerous workshops. You’ll get a chance to work with Joanie one-on-one to create your very own masterpiece, even if you’ve never worked with glass before. In Joanie’s eyes, everyone is a creator!
